The American Translators Association (ATA) is thrilled to announce a major addition to our Professional Development offerings: the brand-new Learning Hub Courses.
A new way to learn, on your schedule
A primary goal of ATA is to help translators and interpreters grow their careers and broaden their horizons. You may already be familiar with our classic formats:
- Online webinars: expert-led, lecture-style presentations for big-picture insights on a variety of specialisations, also featuring a Back to Business Basics (B2BB) series that provides practical advice for beginners as well as experienced professionals.
- Virtual workshops: highly interactive, small-group sessions for deep dives into specific areas of expertise.
Now, we are expanding
Learning hub courses are self-paced, asynchronous programmes hosted on the ATA learning platform. Delivered through short, structured lessons, this format provides you with access to content whenever and wherever it suits you. Progress at your own pace, pause when duty calls, and revisit the materials whenever you need a refresher. Participants can expect to:

- expand leadership practices and skills;
- navigate AI ethically and strategically.

Created by ATA’s experienced professionals, the ATA Learning Hub offers relevant, high-quality education with tools needed to improve core skills in technology, ethics and leadership, providing learning pathways that are easy to access and asynchronous. The Learning Hub is designed to help build the core skills required for a sustainable, future-proof translation and interpreting (T&I) career. Offerings include:
- Microcredentials: dive into cutting-edge topics, including our brand-new AI programmes.
- Expert masterclasses: master your craft, including specialised interpreting techniques taught by renowned trainers.
- ATA exam certification courses: prepare for your certification with targeted, structured guidance.
- Lecture series: gain comprehensive knowledge across a variety of crucial industry subjects.
