In April 2023, the Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters of Catalonia (APTIC) officially launched the Atlas of Translation and Literature during the FIT Council meeting in Barcelona.

Today, the interactive world map continues to grow and expand, and it belongs to all of us! So, please share your ongoing events and activities from your part of the world (including the ones organised by your association) by filling out this form. We encourage you to share the form with organisations where you live that host events connected with literary translation or literature in general.

As a reminder, the aim of the map is not to describe the events in detail or to provide exhaustive information about them, but to locate them on the map and offer an overview for professionals looking for information about translation awards, book fairs, regular conferences, residencies for writers and translators, training programs aimed at the industry, and so on.

This project is a joint initiative of APTIC, the European Council of Literary Translators’ Associations (CEATL), FIT’s Translating for Publishing Houses and Copyright Standing Committee, UNESCO Cities of Literature Network (Barcelona Office), and the Ramon Llull Institute.

If you have any queries, please write to secretaria@aptic.cat.
